As a former hospice nurse, Kayla Nelson deeply understood the needs of seniors in her community. When beginning her journey as an agency owner of True North Home Care in 2022, Kayla knew she needed a software platform that was user-friendly and encompassed all aspects of home care agency operations, including billing, scheduling, compliance, and marketing. It was also crucial that she and her staff could learn the platform quickly and easily. 

Before switching to AxisCare, True North Home Care was led astray with false promises from another home care software vendor. As a growing home care agency serving both private pay and Medicaid clients, an intuitive platform was necessary to meet the demand of seniors in her area. True North’s previous software vendor did not integrate with Nebraska’s EVV vendor, Tellus, for Medicaid billing, causing Kayla to work double time to input data into two separate platforms, resulting in a lot of wasted resources and effort.
