Navigating Colorado's EVV Requirements
Colorado Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is a federally mandated program that requires Medicaid-funded personal care and home health services to be verified through an electronic system. The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) provides an EVV system to all providers. Colorado operates on an open EVV model, wherein agency providers have the option to use an alternate EVV system like AxisCare home health care software.
