Florida Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is a federal mandate that requires Medicaid-funded personal care and home health services to be verified via an electronic system. In Florida, the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) provides an EVV system for all providers. Florida operates on an open EVV model, operates on an open EVV model, wherein agency providers have the option to use an alternate EVV system like AxisCare home health care software.
